Wood is my medium

Wood is my medium. Through roots and trunks I express this symbolic vision of Life. But beyond the seduction of the raw material, I want my work to tight an intimate link with the spectator, a special and unique connection. I ask the spectator to be involved in the interpretation.

Each sculpture is an invitation to a metaphor, a revival of the material.

In most of my work, emerges an entanglement of men, women and children united, hands and feet bounded together, blending united. Shoulder to shoulder, building a human pyramid. As only one people living in one world under the same sun.

In this constantly evolving and challenging world, artists have the important mission to remind us that Love prevails in all of the steps of creation. Only the Union is capable of building a powerful world in which Men and Nature would live in a perfect harmony. 

Those themes of fraternity, humanity and paternity are constantly reflected in my sculptures.
